Why are our custom Mega Sprinters so awesome? Thinking outside the Box! We own the only fleet of custom Production Mega Sprinters in our industry. Every unit boasts a roomy 6' 9" tall interior, attractive and meticulously configured industrial shelving and racks, a silent integrated pure sine wave power supply, a digital workstation and ample lighting and ventilation. Our Mega Sprinters can haul up to 500amp tow plants and a ridiculous amount of gear for its size.

The Mega Sprinter

In consultation with David Barnblatt, my friend, partner and resident 'car guy' we decided to start with the biggest, baddest Dodge Sprinters available. Engineered by Mercedes-Benz all our Dodge Sprinter 3500s have the discontinued Mega Roof and 170" wheelbase providing ample headroom, hauling capabilities and the roomiest cargo/work area in its class. It really is remarkable to be able to haul so much equipment, be able to work so comfortably inside our 6' 9" tall interior and still be able to legally park it in any metered spot or easily navigate narrow alleyways. Couple that with its clean diesel efficiency and nothing comes close.

Shelving System

Adam Meltzer, our third founding partner and resident techie, helped design our prototype, 001, with attractive, sturdy, lightweight shelving imported from Sweden. This shelving system is fitted with racks, drop-fronts and rubber matting for secure storage and easy access. The key here was to make sure we had a secure place for everything without adding so much weight to the vehicle that it would reduce our capacity to haul an unbelievable amount of gear in such a nimble vehicle.

Digital Work Station

In order to dual purpose our Sprinters, we installed a 'digital' workstation to provide a comfortable, safe place to check & backup your digital media. The additional foot of headroom offered by the Mega Roof option was a crucial prerequisite for this challenge. A combination of desk and drawer components from Sweden seamlessly integrated the workstation with our shelving.

Power Infrastructure

We installed a bank of Odyssey batteries and an industrial 3600w, 30amp pure sine wave power inverter to provide a stable, clean, silent power source while out on location. Ample 120v sockets located inside the cargo hold at our digital workstation safely power computers, hard drives, printers and monitors while charging camera batteries, walkies, and cell phones. We installed eight more 120v sockets on the outside left and right runner panels to conveniently power limited lighting setups, monitors, and other set equipment.

Lighting & Ventilation

Custom efficient lighting and a programmable ventilation system provide for a well-lit, comfortable environment. Our Mega Sprinter really is a 'nice place to work.'
